In a manner of speaking, we perform psychotherapy to ourselves. These things may be more strongly marked in one person than in another, but they are an essential characteristic of the 12th house. However, if we deny these feelings, or if we attempt to channel the creative efforts of the unconscious into a 9to5 groove, we not only seal its source, but become more and more uncomfortable without knowing exactly why. It is as if we have cut ourselves off from an important curative force and producer of psychic balance.”
